Irritated, Dissatisfied, Displeased
I was excited to try out this product as I have worked extensively with the other four scents as a part of my job and never once ran into a problem. Let me be clear, the product is on par with everything else, the review is mainly for how things were handled.
I opened the sugar scrub to use a little bit of the product and scrub my hands and rinse off. Soon after I started to feel my hands itch, mainly on the backs of my hands and my wrists. I had red splotches along my knuckles and vivid red streaks where I had scratched my hand to relieve the itching. Something in the scrub caused me contact dermatitis. I was upset as this is good scrub, and I had purchased the mask spray and large body butter pump and the prospect of missing out on the signature scent because my skin is being finicky is the icing to a wonky month.
I was going to return the body butter and the mask spray (Both unopened) and swap it out for another scent I didn't ever react to at the offer of the CSR I was emailing.
I greatly appreciated the offer, but this leaves me with the sugar scrub, an open product(I understand that due to it being open it's a problem, and Covid is a problem,) that I cannot return or swap out or be refunded for, even though it is something that I physically cannot use without it irritating my skin to the point of a physical reaction. What I have issue with is, mainly, is that the only thing that was offered for a product I bought and paid for was a 40% discount code to buy another…
