Keep them dry, and out of sitting water. Just like Soap left in a wet environment, the shampoo bars will get soft, and seemingly melt when left in a moist environment. We recommend using soap dishes that will help keep your bar out of moisture. I always recommend standing your bar on its side, so that the air can dry the most surface area.

"First off, I love Spinster and have now tried all their shampoo bars, including the purple tea tree one that was amazing but sadly discontinued. My hair is between a 2 and 3 s, wavy with some loose ringlets on a good day. Because it is thinning thanks to menopause I decided to try this for the fact it is supposed to not weigh your hair down which was something I felt happens with the coconut version. This suds up amazingly but when I rinsed it out my hair felt totally stripped and I ended up needing to do two rounds of conditioner, both times leaving it sit for a few minutes, before my hair felt like it wouldn’t be a total tangled disaster. I understand small businesses need to drop products that aren’t cost effective but man I wish I could still get my hands on the purple soap because it made my hair so happy but I will be settling for weighted down moisturized hair from the coconut shampoo bars instead."

It makes my scalp feel nice and cool as well and it’s so refreshing after a long day ☺️ if you’re not used to this type of shampoo it’s might seem like it’s stripping your hair but it’s just washing off all the oil that’s in your hair so I recommend using conditioner after."
"Smells incredible, but even after double shampooing it left my hair incredibly greasy. My roots felt fine but my mids and ends were so slick with oil that it came off on my hands. I tried rewarding again with less conditioner and I had the same issue. It seems like there’s too much oil in both products. I noticed too that after washing with shampoo and before condition my hair felt waxy. I regularly use baking soda and apple cider vinegar so I know my hair is free from buildup. Super disappointing that now I feel like I won’t be able to use either bar and that I’ve wasted my money :("
